S/MIME E-Mail Certificates

S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) E-Mail Certificates encrypt e-mail and add a digital signature, so a message can only be read by its intended recipient and the sender's identity can be confirmed. They are used where confidential information is sent by e-mail, such as in healthcare, finance, and other regulated fields.

Each E-Mail Certificate provides encryption so only the intended recipient can read a message, a digital signature that confirms who sent it, and tamper detection that shows if a message was altered in transit. A signed message also gives the sender a record that it came from them.

S/MIME E-Mail Certificates work with common e-mail clients on desktop and on iOS and Android. They are available for an individual or for an organization deploying in bulk, with options validated to a person or to a business.
